What is "Jackdaw"?

"Jackdaw" is a fantasy graphic novel created and developed by Flavia Breitweisen. It is set in a fictional world Madravik and tells a story of a Dalinvan criminal known as Jackdaw, who, having committed several serious crimes, has traveled across the sea to hide in a Sygalôran port city - Rhenna-Tel. Issues complicate when his presence in the city is discovered by the local militia and two of his old acquaintances follow him to his place of hiding...

The story consists of 11 chapters and will not be continued. It is entirely in full-color and smooth-shaded, with hand-painted backgrounds. The re-launch is planned for January 2010 (the exact day still being unknown), with update rate of 1-3 pages per week.

Who is Friedenmann?

Flavia Breitweisen, or Friedenmann, is a student of philosophy. She doesn't possess much of skills, nor a talent for painting, but she tries to do her best. This comic is the first project she's serious about making real. Besides going to great lengths to endure through the college while working on a comic, she likes to read literature classics and listen to a music band named Self. She dreams of moving to Scandinavia after getting the degree. Right now she's a rather poor chick with a funny accent.
